The museum garden houses numerous impressive bonsai. We were initially impressed by the numerous 100+ years old bonsai, till we got to their prized exhibits which are estimated 500+ years old. There is even a 1000 years old bonsai on display.
As part of the museum's 100th anniversary, they showcased a Twisted Trunk Pomegrante bonsai. It was last exhibited in 2006, 2015. (No photo taking allowed in the special exhibit hall).
After the museum, a walk around the bonsai village where there are 6 private bonsai houses, retailing and also conducting bonsai classes. Their gardens were open for public visit but no photos allowed.
