Japan Coffee Scenes

Compared to my last trip, the number of cafes in Tokyo seems to have exploded. And the number of roasters have also grown. It is a lot easier to find medium-dark roast as the Japanese style of coffee tends towards light roast. Once out of Tokyo, finding a good pull of espresso is still challenging, coffee drip bags are still the next more reliable option.
