23 Jul to 30 Jul - On board the Ocean Hunter III

Boarded the Ocean Hunter III and Skipper Kenneth and Dive Director Eddie brought us through the introduction to the crew, orientation of the boat and its dive operations.

Captian - Kenneth Johnny
Engineer - Epi
Dive Director - Eddie
Dive Master - Malsol
Chef - Arlee
Assistant Chef - Roy

Sock and I had the State Room. Very comfy and windows are such a luxury.

Quick check around the dive platform and camera area ... proper workspace for camera , charging stations with both 110 and 220v, nitrox on board, camera tanks, designated baskets for personal dive gear and wetsuit hanging area ... etc .

No time to lose ... LET's GEAR UP

The dive briefing on the chase boat ... "Strong current, blue water, sharks and turtles :P"
3, 2, 1 descend ... we now have 32% O2 in our blood !

What happens after a dive ?
Step 1 - warm shower on deck
Step 2 - look for food (fruit smoothie, brownies, cakes)
Step 3 - Rest   ( Do note that this step applies to non-divers too ! )
Step 4 - it happens all over again

What does Sock do when the rest of the world is out diving ...
- Staring out into open sea and memorizing the islands
- Jacuzzi on sun deck
- Trying to feed sharks from the dive deck
- Catching rainbows and sunsets
In 7 days, she did 1 snorkel trip and 1 jellyfish lake trip. So BUSY, no wonder she got no time to nap and is the most tired among all.

Help !! We Are Starving
Don't worry, Chef Arlee and Roy would never let that happen !!

For breakfast, you get at least 4 different cheese, my favourite cream cheese with bagel, pancake, eggs, bacon, sausage, salami, fish congee ... etc

For lunch and dinner, there is a different food theme everyday ... Japanese, American, Mexican, Turkish, Chinese, Italian ...etc and of course the desert of the day (creme burlee, black cherry tart, cooked pear with chocolate sauce). Not to forget the overload of yummy fresh baked brownies for in-between dives snack !

As the Day comes to an End
it was the usual camera maintanance, charging batteries, updating dive log and Sock's block-buster movie screening in the lounge.

Life became such a nice Routine
