Where the "three gringos" ( Butch Cassidy, Sundance Kid, Helen Page) once stayed in their escape voyage. Some piece of cowboy history that I have only seen in movies.
This famous Route 40 stop is now a popular tourist road stop and a museum.

We have a half day free in El Calafate, since the failed kayak event. Decided to have lunch a restaurant near the nature reserve and spend the afternoon explore this nature reserve and spotting Flamingos.

Making up for the missed kayaking event, we took the recommendation for the good folks at the hotel and tried our luck to walking to this more "fancy" restaurant.
The Vacio (flank), black pudding, pork sausage, pumpkin grilled at the embers were all spot-on perfectly done.
Was just talking about Uco Valley the day before and it happens that both bottles tonight are from Uco.
