Humpback Party. Farewell and thank you for the fish

We sailed past the Brabant Island and reluctantly started our journey into the Drake and back towards South America.
Group of 6 feeding humpback were spotted and entertained us with a display of synchronised tail flukes. In the distance, more excitement was brewing as a mother and calf repeatedly breached. Just to make sure we had a proper farewell, they decided to breach right across the front of our ship !
What a nice way to say farewell to Anatarctica as we braved the cold to cast a lingering look at the fading ice covered scenery
