Trip Planning
We used
Premium Travel Mongolia, who handled everything "end-to-end", i.e. itinerary, hotels, domestic flights, local car transfer and almost full-board meals with the exception of 2 dinners in the city.
All I need to say is that it was awesome. Efficient trip planning and pre-trip advises. Crystal (who planned our trip) keep commms through-out our 17D trip with repeated checked-in on us to make sure everything was good. Many thanks to Suvd, Khaba, Nassa, TJ, our guides and drivers for making our journey in Mongolia a very deep, personal and memorable expereince.

Flights Options
We chose to fly SIN - ICN - UBN via Korean Air. From Singapore, there was the option to fly via Beijing. We were not confident to make a 80 minute connection transfer in Beijing Airport. Other option would be via Hong Kong, but connecting flights were genernally not ideal and requires an overnight layover.
Currency Exchange
Youtrip card worked well for us. Managed to withdraw local currency from the ATM at the airport. First SGD$400 withdrawal had free fee wavier. So SGD$800 for 2 pax worked well for us. Note that there is still a small ATM transaction fee, but it was negliable. I am sure that you could score a better rate at some money changer or such, but this was fussy free enough for me and might not be a big differene for smaller amount.
