Sock and I changed our trains to a later one at 11:55, so that we get more time to do last minute shopping in Daimura to get fresh Daifuku
Black pork siew mai from Daimura ... Very GOOD !
Stuff in 2 bottles of my favorite sake from Daimaru in case they were not available in the airport
[After note ... these were available in 2-3 shops in the airport at the same price]
For the uninitiated, Chitose airport is the biggest supermart which consolidates products from all parts of Hokkaido. Plan for at least 3 hours of shopping time (excluding time required for check-in). Our flight was at 18:30 hours, we left Sapporo at 11:55 ...
Beside the shopping for fresh produce and eating ... Cheeses, fresh soba and nama chocolates
There's the Royce Chocolate World factory, Hello Kitty World, Doremon land and the aircraft museum.
Sake, sake and more sake
The very stylish MILK bar ... serving bottled milk and milk soft ice cream
A snowy airport ...

On the return leg, it was possible to check-through the luggage such that we did not need to handle the bags in Haneda. Wondering why it was not possible in the in-coming flight.
