Breakfast at one of the bakery in
tokyo station, after which we took the metro to Ogawamachi
Station for snow gear shopping.
The Street between Ogawamachi Station Exit B5 and Jimbocho Station is filled buildings and buildings of snow gear.
NOTE: Awajicho Station is also connected to Ogawamachi Station is you happen to be on a different line on the Metro.
If you are not fussy with brands and willing to dig, there is an outlet style shop (Kanda Cheap) which we got a 1999 Yen snow jacket.
The shop is right across the road from Exit B5

Lunch at a tempura restaurant ... this street is also filled with bookstores

When in doubt, just order the dish with everything in it. Cannot go wrong. Noticed the fried Anago bones in the center.

More browsing around the shop in that area

Yanaka coffee roast their own coffee bean in the shop.
However, they do not have a espresso machince also the menu does mention Espresso. We order an double espresso and what we got was a bigger cup of long black compare to the more coffee. Have not figured that out yet

Since we are in the area ... let's queue for Yakitai. Lots of red bean and very little skin. Although I would have like mine a bit more crispy.

Giant Ramen Anyone ?

To Asakusa to get sock her inuji canvas bags

Back to tokyo station to look for a dinner place.
Of all the restaurant on this trip, I guess this has to be the most "family style" in terms of food and service.
Well food was not exactly bad, just that being in japan, I do expect a higher benchmark.
At least it was not expensive ... a generous serving of 5 types of sashimi moriwase for Y2600

A quick peep as Liquors Hasegawa, did not turn out the way I imagined. Yes they do have a lot of whisky from around the world but I must say that they Japanese whisky range is very limited. Did not get anything since I was focused on Japanese Whisky only.
Swan Lake Beer
A craft beer pub in Ginza area serving the Swan Lake Brewery in Niigata. 8 drafts from swan lakes and another 8 guest taps.
Our favorite for the night was the B-IPA and Stout and one of the guest tap Baird Beer. What we also found out is that pubs in Ginza closes at 11pm on a Saturday night ?? Strange right ?
