Gangteng Monestary

The museum in the monastery has an interesting collection of old festivals mask. Black hat ceremonial costumes which were used by the lamas to perform the rituals prior to the building of new temple. The joker costume, which could only be worn by a very senior learned monk, to mock others during festivals.
