Gyeongju - Seokguram Grotto to Bulguksa Temple

Seokguram hosts a UNESCO stone buddha craved out of a single piece of granite. No photos allowed inside, so only a postcard to show for it.

There is a 2km forest hiking trail that connects to Bulguksa temple, but it was too cold and windy, so taking the car down was a good idea.

Gyeongju Bulguksa Temple, aka Buddha land. Several designated National Treasure, the main buddha statues and the 2 pagodas of the past and present buddha. Several relics of the head monks of the temple enshrined here.
