Goseong - Wanggok Village

15 Apr 2026
Lunch at a restaurant ran by a 3rd generation owner for typical north korean cusines.

After which, we went to the Wangkok Village. Home to 50 families, with subsidy from the government, preserved the original korean architecture. Set in a totally serene environment surrounded by mountains, it stops time.

We had a relax rest and chit chat by the lotus pond ... till we were ready to go back to sokcho.

Best Pork Bossam on the trip. The fermented pollack is signature to the North Korea recipe. (Goseong)
