Gangneung - Chodang Tofu Street

Most restaurant here serve the famous Chadong Tofu. Made with domestic soya and deep seawater.

The stall we went to was closed for renovation. Saw 3 korean ladies dashed across the road to a restaurant, decided to follow them and landed up in this authentic, traditional looking restaurant.

Ordered the set so that we could try all the different types of tofu, firm, soft, flavoured, and in a spicy hotpot stew. The tofu taste and texture is really outstanding.
